About us

Yung Prodigy is a charity based non profit where we aim to liberate young people who are impacted by parental incarceration. We are newly established with an impressive level of traction due to the invisibility of this issue within so-called Australia. Our small yet dedicated team wish to collaborate alongside those with lived or intersecting experiences in building an organic community driven by shared values and philosophy.

Through taking this approach, we aim to develop innovative and effective mechanisms to confront the systemic nature of parental incarceration. Further, we aim to take a holistic view to address this issue, including the considerations of: education, housing, caring responsibilities, financial stressors, safety, mental and physical health concerns when undertaking dialogues on this matter.
