In addition, Australia criminalises thousands of young people using punitive measures. With this reality, young people are often left without support, and are invisible to society. At Yung Prodigy, we’re not just working alongside these young people—we are them. As a youth-led organisation founded on lived experience, we’re building pathways to break free from the cycles perpetuated by the carceral system.
