We’re looking for a passionate and community-driven individual to build strong relationships with young people and ensure their voices shape our work.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
● Connect with and support young people in the Yung Prodigy network.
● Help design and run programs that foster leadership and community.
● Engage young people in decision-making and create pathways for them to take on roles
within Yung Prodigy.
● Coordinate outreach and facilitate workshops or events.
● Provide informal mentoring and support.
WHO YOU ARE
● Passionate about youth empowerment and social justice.
● Connected to or deeply understand the experiences of young people impacted by the
justice system.
● Experienced in youth work, community engagement, or program development—or eager
to learn.
● A great communicator and listener.
● Aligned with Yung Prodigy’s values and decolonial approach.
WHAT YOU’LL GAIN
● Hands-on experience in youth engagement and advocacy.
● Flexible and meaningful volunteer work in a supportive team.
● Opportunities for training and leadership development.
● A role in shaping a growing grassroots organisation.
TIME & LOCATION
● Commitment: 5-10 hours per week.
● Work arrangement: Remote, with optional office space in Sydney.
